
Samuel Maynes is a Contributing Author for the Prometheus Security Project and a young professional interested in the role of emerging technology in defense, national security, and great power competition. His experience includes time on Capitol Hill and a practicum with PwC Intelligence where he forecasted future scenarios on regional security and technological advancements in the Middle East for a corporate client.
Samuel is a final-semester graduate student at American University’s School of International Service, pursuing a Master of Arts in International Affairs with a concentration on European and Eurasian Foreign Policy and Security. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Geography from Plymouth State University, where he was a two-time recipient of the John F. Ozog Memorial Scholarship for achievement and contributions to Geography at Plymouth State, as well as the Class of 2023 Outstanding Graduating Senior in Geography.
